Distilling Winter: An Alchemical Journey with Winter's Medicine

A weekend workshop exploring and engaging the medicine of winter in North Idaho through aromatics, archetypes, and the alchemical stages.

Crafted to celebrate when we are, where we are, and how we are, Distilling Winter is a unique experiential workshop exploring the medicine of winter in North Idaho through a variety of inspired activities, experiences, and disciplines. Designed to deepen your relationship with your environment, your present moment, your Self, and your feelings, Distilling Winter offers you the chance to distill your self and cultivate the unique medicine around you, for you, and in you.

In this workshop you will:

• Meet the medicinal plants of winter in North Idaho
• Engage them to craft compelling winter remedies for your body and spirit
• Participate in a co-created co-distillation of relevant plants
• Appreciate distillation as metaphor via the alchemical stages
• Discover and engage relevant symbology, archetypes, and alchemical stages to better appreciate your own winter processes, needs, and self-care

The workshop unfolds over the course of three days (Friday evening, all day Saturday, most of Sunday). Over the course of the weekend, we will craft a variety of medicines and products from the plants, aromatics, and oils we engage, so you’ll be taking home an abundant basket of goodies as well as a bound workbook with key course notes.
