Our small-batch botanical products include medicinal plants & flowers thoughtfully grown in our medicine garden, around our farm, or, more rarely, regionally wild-crafted for hand-harvesting at their peak. After preparation via infusion, dehydration, or distillation, the resulting oils, extractions, and hydrolats are expertly blended in small batches into one or more of our inspired formulas.

AFTER MANY YEARS AS A FARMER, GARDENER, DISTILLER, HERBALIST, AROMATHERAPIST, AND NATURAL SKINCARE FORMULATOR, NOTHING HAS INFORMED OR ELEVATED MY WORK WITH MEDICINAL PLANTS & BLENDING MORE THAN BEING IN DIRECT, INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MEDICINE AND PLANTS THEMSELVES AS I CULTIVATE, CELEBRATE, AND WORK WITH THEM EVERY DAY.

Because we grow, collect, prepare, and blend with our own farm-sourced ingredients in small batches, our ingredients and products are uncommonly fresh. After hand-harvesting, many of our aromatic plants are immediately distilled, infused, or otherwise prepared for the next step in their transformation. In fact, most of our featured flora travel less than 500 feet in their alchemical journey from "raw material" to finished Untamed Alchemy formula.

Many of Untamed Alchemy's bestselling formulas began as natural herbal/aromatic solutions to the wants and needs of our household, friends, family, and community.

THE BOMB! was originally crafted in 2012 to soothe and heal the dry, cracked, stiff hands of an animal surgeon friend who found her hands woefully damaged by repeated use of antibacterial soap before surgery.

SEED+FRUIT began as an antioxidant-rich love letter to my own chapped, wind-weary face after a long winter spending time outdoors in the blistering cold

NORTH FOREST was a gift for my Oregon-born, Doug fir-loving husband who had been using OoLaLa! liquid salve to tame and moisturize his beard

BUG OFF! was born to keep me (a veritable mosquito magnet) protected from angry bites while I went about my business outside

S.O.S. was crafted to comfort and soothe the mosquito bites I inevitably get when I don't use BUG OFF! because I somehow think I'll be faster than a mosquito when I run out to turn off a hose or tuck the chickens in for the night
